Lightning talk

Participants are required to a give 3-min talk about their research using a maximum of 5 slides. Please submit brief abstract (150-200 words) before February 28th via the symposium registration link.

The general rules will follow the 3MT Competition Rules.

Presentation Requirements and Guidelines

• At most 5 Google Slides pages are permitted, with the dimension setting “Widescreen 16:9”. PowerPoint is okay, but it will be converted to Google Slides.
• No additional embedded electronic media (e.g. sound and video files) are permitted.
• Presentations are limited to three minutes maximum.
• Presentations are to be spoken word (e.g. no poems, raps, or songs).
• The slide will be controlled by the host, and the slide will move onto the next one at the presenter’s command.
• Presenters are required to email a copy of their PowerPoint slides to Kuncheng Song(ksong4@ncsu.edu) and Preethi Thunga(pthunga@ncsu.edu) on or before March 9th.
